Serving as technical lead across multiple client engagements, taking ownership of projects from initial discovery through to implementation. This involves facilitating stakeholder workshops to understand business requirements, translating these into technical specifications, and designing scalable architecture solutions that align with both immediate needs and long-term strategic goals. Regularly producing proof of concepts to validate technical approaches, demonstrate feasibility to stakeholders, and de-risk delivery before full development begins. Playing an active role in building and developing the team through involvement in the recruitment process, from defining role requirements and reviewing applications through to conducting technical interviews. Committed to nurturing junior developers through structured mentoring, establishing code review practices that maintain high standards while creating learning opportunities, and engaging in regular pair programming sessions to share knowledge and build capability. Contributing to the wider team's growth by delivering internal training sessions and creating documentation that supports continuous professional development.

Role consisted of being a technical lead in the Digital Operations Support team leading the teams in charge of St. James Place, Jotun, Flowtech and Pearson. This included being the technical liaison between the clients and the teams, building new features, mentoring and leading the junior developers and triaging the tickets for new functionality and support ensuring the client was provided the information required to be able to build the functionality/resolve the issues in a timely manner

Role consists of architecting and leading the technical direction and abilities of an agile team including hands-on coding, code-reviews, mentoring, pair programming and facilitating an open discourse on decisions.

Across this period I chose to stretch my wings as a contractor to widen my experience across different working environments, sectors and technologies. Across this time, I was able to demonstrate my ability to adapt, work with new systems, add-value and generally hit the ground running. Accountable for the continued support of the Renewables Manager Platform and development of modules for the upcoming versions. Liaised with different stakeholders to determine requirements for future updates.

Delivered and implemented software and websites to client requirements using a combination of technologies. Acted as a mentor for more junior members of the team, helping develop their abilities and experience. Heavily involved in the design and creation of the company’s own Content Management System.

Visited clients to determine business requirements and produced Project Initiation Documents as well as cost/time analysis. Acted as a focal point to the sales force providing pre-sales technical support for sales pitches. Developed quality projects in a number of different Microsoft technologies. Coached individuals to develop potential, improve performance and overall contribution to the business. Helped to define a set of standards for product development using SharePoint and BizTalk.

Attended business requirement meetings to produce technical specifications as well as providing application support to clients for projects already completed. Took on sole and shared responsibility for numerous projects across the full lifecycle. Helped to mentor junior developers to establish confidence and improve overall contribution. Consistently delivered work to a high standard and quality within the timescales and budget given. Helped develop communication within internal and remote teams to enhance mutual co-operation.
