I'm Graham Carr, a Solutions Architect and Platinum OMVP with 28 years in tech—and still genuinely excited about building things for the web.

I specialise in CMS platforms (Optimizely is my home turf), cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure, and the kind of complex digital projects that keep you thinking at 2am. These days, I'm particularly focused on headless architecture, working with Optimizely SaaS, 11ty, Vercel, and modern front-end tooling. I care about performance, accessibility, and building websites that don't cost the earth—literally. Sustainable web practices matter.

Currently at Netcel, I've previously worked with MSQ DX, Dept Agency UK, and Provident Financial Group—tackling everything from enterprise-scale builds to intricate integration challenges. I've got a BSc Hons in Information Systems, but honestly, most of what I know came from shipping real projects and learning from the people around me.

I solve problems, lead teams, and mentor developers. I've learned that the best solutions come from asking better questions, not just writing better code.

I'm also active in the Optimizely community as a Platinum OMVP—sharing what I learn through blog posts, LinkedIn, and the occasional presentation. Tech moves fast, and I think out loud.

Certified in Optimizely (multiple times over), AWS Solutions Architect, and Umbraco Master—because credentials matter, but so does staying curious. I'm always learning something new, whether that's exploring AI-powered content tools or digging into the latest platform updates.
